first i have a 85 s10 auto. i have seen a few things about the 350 but i have heard the camreo from i think a 94 95...???? will fir with the 700r trans. How much work is it? and how common is it?

If your current engine is not a 4.3, then you will need a different tranny.  Are you wanting to put in a v8 350, or are you just referring to a camaro engine like a 3.4L?  What size engine do you have now 2.8?

only the v6 camaro fits that tranny the v8 has a 4l60e

i was talking about the camro the 3.4...i have the 2.8 now

Then yes you can take a 3.4L camaro engine and bolt it to your 2.8 (60 degree as it's referred to, because of the bellhousing) transmission.  I don't know what more would be involved, but it should be a simple R&R I would think.
