i measured my friends stock blazer and mine is 2 inches taller from the center of the wheel to top of wheel well.my tires are 27 inches tall. got my new egr flares last week. am wanting to make sure that puttin wider wheels than stock to fill the fender flares is gonna clear. i think i am gonna go with the 30 9.5 15  and sell my 18 x 20 wheels it is rolling on now

i have 31x10.50s on a 3.75inch backspacing and with my 2 inch suspension lift they still rub

30s will fit stock on stock wheels.

3.75inch backspacing... that's why you rub, not because of the tires.  Try to stick with at least 5" of backspacing.
