On saturday I will be putting a 4" rough country suspension lift under my 78 K5. Anyone that has done this with a 78 let me know what you encountered. I'm already soaking everything with with pb blaster to help with some of the bolts. Thanks for the help!

So what's in the kit, 4 leaf springs and 4 shocks?

Front leafs, rear blocks, 4 shocks, 4 boots, steering arm, brake line relocator, poly bushings, and u bolts. I'm on a limited budget right now but I plan on add a leafs and rearching for the rear later this summer.

Just when you go about doing your lift watch out for possible breakage of bolts and studs , also watch out for breaking anything!!!

Did a 4 inch on my 79, it was relatively easy, but, the only problem I had was lifting the truck up enough to get the new parts under it. Eventually used a forklift...... (it was old, rusty, and I got it for 350 bucks, so, the little bit of rearranging done to the bumpers by the forks was not really an issue.) I also had a torch available to warm up some of the more reluctant bolts, and just blow off the bolts that were not going to be reused..... handy thing to have.
