Well, I decided to change up the look of my cluster.  The centers of the needles were a matching orange to the surround and the needles had the factory orange on them.  I cleared the needles and had the centers color matched to the white face gauges.

Long time, no see!  Looks good!  Did you buy new needles or do something to the ones you had to make them clear?

Nite pics did not turn out so good.  I can see the needles just fine.  They glow white/clear.  Don't stand out as much as the orange factory, but this looks cooler.

Just took stock needles and used nail polish remover to remove the factory orange from the back of the needles then just had the centers color matched to the white face gauges.

So I did a Blue LED conversion to my cluster. If I cleared my needles they too should glow blue? Or do you think I would have to tint the needle somehow? Looks good btw.

If they are clear, Im sure the clear needle would reflect some of the blue light from the cluster,

go to the junyard and get some spares and try it out...

I would assume they would glow blue as long as the lights you replaced were the ones that also lit the needles.

Time for me to tear my dash a part again, lol.

I think maybe I'll try something a touch different... we'll see what I can do

You seem to be suckin a whole ton of power to keep the car on while not cranked... what else do you have running?

Not sure what you mean, but I did have the battery pulled out so I just used jumper cables from my mom's truck and connected them to the battery leads on my truck to get power just so I could check the lights.

You're voltage needle is sitting real low. Piggy backing the power would definitely explain it though!

Isn't it supposed to run at 12V when you turn the ignition on? And then when you start the engine it goes to 14V?
