I finally got my motor mounts and brackets, headers, and carb in. I got it all mocked up on the engine and it looks pretty good. I went with plum purple on the engine and intake and chevy orange on the accs.

Let me know what you think on the color combo.

Not a big fan, reminds me of the Mystery Machine.  What theme are you going for?  Are you keeping the outside of your truck the same color?  At this point it looks like the accessories would be easier to paint than the block.  What kind of paint did you use?  If it were me, I would re-do the orange in a metallic graphite hammer paint kind of color.  It would complement the purple pretty well IMO.

I am painting the water pump orange. I can't decide between orange or purple for the accessory brackets.

It looks interesting. I am not sure I like the purple or the orange. I think an orange or red block with black or silver components would look real nice. But its your truck and motor so go for it.

It actually is a bit darker than the picture shows.
I got delayed a bit because the oil pan that i ordered leaked. But I threw it on anyway to mock it up.  I got the engine in the truck today!!
I still have to rip my transmissions apart and swap the output shafts. Then I will be ready for a final mock-up.
