Hmm, I may have been a little misleading cause I can't seem to find parts for sale on this site. Now that I look at it closer I think it's just this magazine's thing they do that they probably want to do for you for tons of money. But here's what I was looking at.

Vortech makes a nice kit for the 4.3

The V-1 is what I have seen the most attempts at, but most of vortech's kits are universal, they just require modding of course.

Yeah I was looking at those. Makes me wish I had money. I'd go for about 300HP on my 4.3. I wouldn't be inclined to push that engine much harder than that. For more than 300HP I think I'd do a V8 swap.

Hah yeah, I could super a 350! But at the same time, I've got a Nova. And the Nova is going to be bone stock all except for a nice 572 swap or something. Or maybe the Nova should be the turbo 350...there's lots of indescision while waiting for the funds!

Yeah the 572 I really want for the Nova is 750HP, but it's also $13,000. Plus, I'd have to modify the suspension a lot and at least mini-tub it, which I don't want to do to this one. I want this Nova to be completely original looking, down to the jade interior. What's really fun is I'm taking Paint, Body, and Welding classes, and I'm going to take Upholstery, Suspension and probably electrical. So, I'm doing all the work myself.

Well, it's official!

I'm getting a new engine for my truck...

They don't know if I'm getting a long or short block, but when my oil pan blew, it took a chunk out of the block...

And I'm getting a free rental!

I got a nice spiffy red G6

Glad you are getting the truck fixed for free. Gotta post up some pics of that G6 doing doughnuts up there in all that snow. lol. Well hopefully they'll do it right and not screw you up too bad like JHarper's rebuild.

Shouldn't have any issues... It's a brand new engine, right from GM, supposedly

As for the donuts... Well, we'll have to see, lol

It is a pretty quick little car, though... I even kinda like driving it! Odd, for an FWD.

Congrats on the new motor! Just be sure you don't break the G6 off-roading while you're waiting!
