I'd never offroad the G6... That was my Lumina!

No time frame, yet... They'd just filled out the paper work to order the new engine on monday, lol.

It's most likely coming from the US, so at least a month... And that's probably not counting customs.

I didn't even have to do any arguing or convincing or begging! lol.

Same goes for getting the rental...

Once the motor comes in, it probably won't take TOO long to get done, because they probably don't want to pay for the rental any longer than they have to

They will probably yank your motor out now and wait for the new one to come in so they have it prepped and ready to go for a drop in!!

It hasn't moved, lol.

They'll probably do it all in one shot.

I just hope they're gentle on the wires up front

There's something about the angle of your driveway...makes it look like youre about 2 inches from taking out the garage

There's a good foot or 2 between the car and the garage

I didn't get any smoke... The only sign anything went wrong, was oil leaking down...

The top end of my truck is still clean.

Then I took the skid plate off...

not sure about from gm, but this samething happend to me on the 29th, my thred a few down from this one anyway....

i found a rebuilder here (missouri,USA) that sells them he said Oilpan up, everything but the stuff off the forunt of the motor. for $2850.00+tax which is 8.1% ($230.80).  which is $3080.85. and that is 0 miles. only thing used on it is block, which he says is slieved? . eveyrthing else is new. and that comes with a wrighten 2yr, 24,000 mile warrenty.
