My wipers only work on high, I have read online that some of the older models that had problems could be fixed by doing some cold soldering on the wiper motor module.  Could this be the case for the 2005 also?  Any advice would be appreciated I'm not a mechanically inclined person.

swartlkk did a write up on the cold solder repair in a previous post. I found this using the "search" feature at the top of the page.

I'll have a look at the wiper motor in my Rainier to see what is different from my writeup.

*EDIT*

The wiper motor is located under the cowl cover.  The wiper arms must be removed first, then the cowl cover, then the wiper arm assembly can be removed. Then the link posted above will then be applicable.  Things will look a bit different though.
