can someone help me out.  i know there are a ton of threads out there but none of them i can really grasp ahold of the concept.  Can I keep a functional 4x4 and lower it as well?  What is the lowest i can go on the truck and I wanna tuck 20s on it with no cutting.  help please lol

I lowered a 2001 Bravada (AWD) 2 inches using blocks in the back and cranking the t-bars down in the front.  Here's the thread.  I believe I cranked them to a max of 8 turns.  Any more than that and the bolt that keeps tension on the key comes out.  At least it did on his truck, it may be different on yours depending on if/how much your torsion bars sag.

The guy still has his stock 15's on there but wants to go to 22's.  I can't tell you whether or not you'll be able to tuck 20's or not, but you should be able to fit 20's.

I did that back in October '07 and he hasn't had any issues as far as the AWD is concerned.

The one thing I would do differently is with the u-bolts.  As I said in the thread I got custom ones made.  I wish I would've taken the ones that came with the universal kit along with me because the custom ones were too long and one actually got caught on the track at the automatic car wash.  Something to keep in mind...

EDIT: And definitely don't do the same as he did, GET DROP SHOCKS!  He's still using the stock shocks and he won't admit it but I guarantee the ride quality is not the same as stock and certainly not as good as it would be with drop shocks.

You want to tuck 20's that sounds more like you want to lay it out then lower it!! You can lower your's and still put 20's on it no problem!!

I just did it on my truck, I dropped the front with the t-bars and the back i went with belltechs 3 inch drop blocks. Took 1 hour total to do it all. Now i'm stuck trying to find rims that are gonna work.
