Your age has nothing to do with anything.

Before posting a new thread, you should use the search funtion to see if your question has already been answered.  You might want to check out the forum Rules & FAQ, that would have saved you from double posting..

And you will probably still have to do some minor trimming to avoid rubbing even after the 2'' BL.  Nothing a slight t-bar adjustment might fix though.

I have 33x12.50 BFG MT's on my ZR2.

Here's my page with all of the modifications to my truck:

Jigg's Blazer

Basically, I have:
2" BL
2.25" Lift Shackles
1" Tbar crank
Air Shocks
Add A Leafs
A bit of fender trimming

You may have a more difficult time, depending on the specs of your wheels... do you know the width and backspacing of them?   Or even the model?

i didnt realize you had lift shackles and add-a-leafs. wouldn't that result in a very raked truck? especially with only 1" tbar crank.  do the shocks lift it up at all?

The shocks gain another 1" at 90psi too.

The truck is raked... see this picture:

The reason it still looks decent, is because, relative to the rocker line, the rear flares are lower than the front.

Redmenhockey10, some performance mods that are worthwhile:

March Performance Pulleys
AEM Brute Force Intake
Magnaflow high flow cat and 18" muffler
B&M Shift+
Custom PCM tune

For the body lift... check out Synergy Offroad... somebody i know owns it

No different axles are necessary.  The SL6 comes with everything you need aside from some exhaust work.

^^^^^Hey, if your considering a sfa swap look into 3leaffab.com They plan on having a bolt in sfa kit this summer that is suppost to be cheaper than any 5-6" lift out right now.

Me, no.  Individual SFA parts, yes... but an entire kit... probably not.  There's entirely too much liability associated with stuff like that.

The 3leaf kit looks pretty good.  I'd be very surprised, however, if it's acheivable for less than a normal suspension lift.

Another company that's got an SFA kit in the works is Diversified Creations out of MI.  Mike (guy with the LS1 ZR2) is a super knowledgable guy, and he's a Lead GM special project engineer (headed up the Reggie Jackson Camaro build).  If i were to purchase a complete SFA kit, that's who i'd go to.

Well I think the kit is suppost to be cheaper because it wont include the front diff., shocks, leaf springs, and steering components

That's really not a kit... that's SAS brackets.  The Diversified Creations kit is going to include everything except the axle and front driveshaft, both of which you can buy from them if you choose.  It retains the factory ABS operation as well.

Why don't you just keep the stock tires/rims (unless you can get them CHEAP).

I'm 17 here as well and I understand the strain on money all to well. I've mainly focused on the little things (lights on brush guard/K&N air filter/exhaust (got to get the muffler on).

It's good to have dreams though, I'm wanting to lift mine and put either 32/33's on it.
