If yours was a 2wd I would tell you to lower it and that gives you no tipsyness and better handling!!  But since you are thinking about lifting yours I would stick with the 2inch for now and get a different offset rim with a wider tire to correct any tipsyness the lift will add!!! RE: Runnning Boards - 3/7/2008 7:59:44 PM    swartlkk Posts: 15304 Joined: 5/1/2005 From: Waterloo, NY Status: online The GMT360 platform has mounts formed into the body under the truck and are quite strong.  The ones on my Bravada used body mounts, not into the side of the frame.  They were quite strong as well.  It all depends on the design.  Factory designed running boards are quite strong.  Aftermarket ones, well, it all depends. I would like to take them off but parents dont see why. an its freezing outside ill probably take them off in the spring or summer when we can go outside without freesing our balls off!!!
