ok, i know it's not a blazer but i hope you guys don't mind. i got an 1999 s-10, but they are about the same and if it makes you feel better my first truck was a 1991 blazer! my problem is that i bought a JVC cd player 2 years ago when i first got my truck. My friend hooked it up for me, but as soon as i shut off my truck and open the door, everything on my cd player resets! all my presets, the time, the bass and treble and so forth and all my friend could say is sorry. now i'm trying to fix it without having to pay alot of money just to connect a couple of wires....if any one could help THANKS.

Check the manual, make sure that you have a factory wiring harness for your stereo. Other than that, I don't know. Sorry.

woo hoo! another s-dime owner! sounds like he hooked the memory wire up to the power wire. the memory wire should be hooked up to a constant power source.
