hey all. got a wierd problem. whenever it is cold out (like below 45F), after about 10 minutes of normal driving, i will suddenly feel the clutch let out hard (WHACK!) and from that point on, i will be stuck in what feels like 2nd gear. very slow takeoff from a dead stop (as if i am in a gear too tall) and high RPMs when up to speed (around 3k at 60MPH)

This only happens when its cold out! if its above 60F, no problems at all. If i am having this problem, and i stop somewhere for any length of time, the problem seems to go away temporarily.

any ideas? thanks for any replies...
