Canada Status: offline Sounds like a possible pinion bearing or gears in the rear diff. If you jack up the truck and have it on stands (solid), then you can listen at the rear diff. I use a long screwdriver, put the handle to my ear and the blade on the diff housing in different areas til I hear it the loudest. Drain the diff oil and use a magnet to see if there's a lot of metal in it. My find found all the parts for cheap. 150 for everything good thing I know someone in the salvage business *Combining consecutive posts, please use the edit function if no one has replied since your last post.
