Pretty much anything forced induction would have to be custom. The easiest course would be to get a procharger (Centrifugal S/C) and just have custom mounting plates made up (or possibly use a mounting kit for a 350sb), but you'd need to go with their smallest unit and then you'd probably have to put on a larger pulley to make it turn slower due to the lower displacement. The problem with both a turbo or CSC is that the bottom end should really be upgraded. At the very least, some 8.5:1 pistons should be tossed in to keep from getting very harmful detonation due to excessive pre-ignition cylinder temps. High temps can be over come with an intercooler for both cases, but the CSC may be able to run without an intercooler with lower compression pistons. The CSC would require less custom fab than the turbo (collector pipes, down tubes, intake piping, intercooler piping, etc). Either option is a daunting task to say the least! Good luck!

i was already planning on upgrading to forged pistons. but i am also having a little bit of trouble finding a vendor for the pistons too. i can only find parts for imports. and all the domestic websites i have seen have been in sets of 8 only.

Yeah I used to have one of those motors myself. They do not make a supercharger or turbocharger for that motor.
