I have a 4 door, 1997 Chevy S10 Blazer, no Tach.
I am trying to hook up a Tachometer but am having a small problem.
I cannot find the tach connector, which my Chiltons manual claims is
somewhere near the Coil.
Anyone out there hooked up a tach in an S10 Blazer of a similar year.
Of course it is the 4.3L Vortec V6
4 Door, Forest Green Blazer..
This forum has been a big help..
Also, anyone know of a good lift kit for a 4 door, 1997 Blazer?
3 inch would be nice, suspension, not body lift..
J..

No help from me on the tach hook up, sorry.  You should get a response sometime soon though!

As for your lift kit, you might be in luck if you're driving a 2wd blazer (coil sprung in the front).
4x4s have a torsion bar suspension, which doesn't give many options for lift.  If you've got a 4x4 you're looking at a 2'' suspension, 5'' suspension, or 6'' suspension.  If you're ok with a fair amount of rake (frontward slope) you can find 3'' shackles, but you'll get 1.5-2'' out of the front tops.

Check out Lift Kit List for more info.  Welcome to the site!!
