Ok so theres been a lot of talk about the tweeters up front but I'm still unclear on what I should do I have 4 Alpine s type speakers between the front and rear doors and a kenwood KDC-MP428 deck, the 2000 came with little 1 inch tweeters up in the dash that sit in a 4x6 plate and they sound all right but from time to time I hear some ****ty noise from them.... I'm wondering should I replace them with 4x6 2ways, new tweeters or maybe even just cut them out completely since all the doors have tweeters built onto the s types...any info would help I'd like to get this done with....what did you guys do? will it sound empty if i get rid of them? let me hear from you...

i replaced mine this weekend with two ways 4x6 but they do not have the same bolt pattern as a 4x6 speaker its a little wierd but they will go in cockeyed and the tabs will still bolt down and wont move i think the 4x6 sound better but mine are amped
