Howdy folks.
After a year of having to save money on fuel i finally sold my cavalier and got back into an S truck :)  Previously I had an 89 Jimmy 4x4 which I loved for 3 years but a commute and failing marriage took their toll and I had to sell.  Now that i've solved both those problems and have some money again I'm back in the game with a sweet 99 (black) Blazer Zr2.  I love the truck and after I solve my fuel pump and door pin issue it'll be that much better :D

Nice to find an active community to learn and share info on.

peace.

A hearty welcome to you!  Good to hear things are back on track and you're able to be comfortable in what you drive again.  Lots of knowledgable people here, should be able to help you with your questions.  I see you've already posted them in the appropriate section so you're well on your way.

Welcome again and...

...PICS!

Welcome from down under.
Wife wanted white,
I wanted black.
I won.

I'd love to have brushguards but it will void my insurance here. Something to do with the operation of the airbags I believe. Vehicles without airbags are still ok to have them - for now.

Welcome to the fourm!! If you want yours black, you should look into getting it rhino lined. Then it would be more durable and might last longer than just paint. Otherwise try getting it powdercoated. Nice looking truck.

Thanks for the tip!

I'm starting to waiver on painting the brush guard from all the positive comments on here.  I think i'll put it on as is and decide after the fact... i can remove it at any time to get it coated.  I think i have other things with my other toy to spend money on right now :)
