How can I love this truck so much and hate it at the same time, the transmission has been replaced already, had a misfire last week and changed the plugs, wires, and rotor, problem fixed, replaced wheel bearings also. Ever since i replaced the wheel bearings my 4x4 does not work. I hit the button to go into AWD or 4x4 and it just blinks and then goes back to 2 HI. It sounds as if it is trying to switch but it dosen't. Also numerous lights out on the dash, in the radio area and climate control, can I replace them or do I have to take it somewhere. My fuel gauge aslo fluctuates and does not give an actual reading, been working off the trip odometer, I am planning on replacing the fuel pump assembly, wondering also if I am going in the right direction.

Oh and whenever I change my oil ther is a lot of spray around the oil filter, there has to be a leak somewhere in the area, any suggestions or common causes of that also.

I had a problem late last year with the 4wheel drive not engaging too. I replaced the transfer case control module. That solved that one.

As for your oil filter areabeing wet. wipe down everything thats oily. Drive for a week or so and check it. You should see some seapage and can trace the leak where it originated from
Are you having starting problems? Why change the fuel pump?

No starting problems, fuel gauge dosen't work, I was told that the sending unit is incorporated with the fuel pump on top of the tank and I had to replace the whole thing.

They are seperate. If the fuel pump is okay leave it.
