Looks nice, but the tires still stick out a bunch, my guess is you are going get uneven wear again. But I like those tires.

WolfPack -> RE: 2" Lift and 31" Toyo AT (3/19/2008 9:07:49 PM)

Way too much lateral G's on turns when they're that wide...take turns slower!  Or stiffer shocks up front maybe..

And pay for the lifetime rotation at a tire shop (if you havn't already), and rotate those suckers every other weekend!

AWESOME truck though.  I love those rims..the black on chrome is real sexy.

motoraser125 -> RE: 2" Lift and 31" Toyo AT (3/19/2008 9:25:41 PM)

Thanks for the compliments and advice. My tires wearing out so quickly and unevenly had alot to do with my alignment. My wheels used to slant in alot and my upper controle arm bussings were so bad the almost were not there. Once I got the lift installed it corrected the problem so I might not have anymore wear problems but I am going to rotate these tires alot more often then my last ones.

WolfPack- I love the roof rack. Where did you get it and how much was it? I think it adds alot to it and makes it look beefier. I need somewhere to put a spare bc i took mine out to do dual exhaust.

navyblue_sk8er -> RE: 2" Lift and 31" Toyo AT (3/19/2008 10:19:32 PM)

How did you achieve the 2" lift? Via Body or suspension?

motoraser125 -> RE: 2" Lift and 31" Toyo AT (3/20/2008 8:31:27 AM)

I have a 2" Rough country lift but it looks more like the super lift. I ordered it through rough country but the controle arms that I got look like the superlift ones. They didnt come powder coated like the rough country ones are supposed to.

Thanks!!  I actually started looking at roof racks for the same reason..I wanted to run dual exhaust and had to drop the spare.  Eventually I got caught up doing other stuff to the blazer, and dual exhaust is still waiting [&:]

But I got the rack from EverythingSUV.com because they were the only surco retailer I could find at the time, but now SummitRacing has them 30 bucks cheaper.  LINK

You're also going to need a set of mounting adapters that attach the surco rack to the blazer's rack.  They seem to have taken the savings on the price of the rack and tacked the money onto the adapters (probably because you can't do much without em...) LINK

Then I custom made the spare tire carrier, but surco makes a kit for it here

95_4door -> RE: 2" Lift and 31" Toyo AT (3/21/2008 12:23:28 PM)

I like the wide stance it has. Do you know the offset on the rims? Thats what I want mine to sit like when I get the motor swap done (hopefully just a couple more weeks).
Also, I love the rims. The black and chrome go really well with the truck. I'm not a big fan of chrome, but that little bit looks good.

willjones -> RE: 2" Lift and 31" Toyo AT (3/21/2008 2:17:34 PM)

Looks great. How much back spacing do those rims have?

motoraser125 -> RE: 2" Lift and 31" Toyo AT (3/21/2008 3:54:57 PM)

Thanks. Im going to have to start saving for that roof rack. I like it but its a little $.

Yeah this is the new rough counrty lift. The install went really well.
I am really liking these new tires, the ride really good. I just need to give them a try in the mud now and see how the do.

The rims have a -28 offset and 3.4" backside. I wanted the wider stance as well thats why I went with them. The choices on wheels for our trucks is were limmited if you go with a rim that has the correct offset.

Is your dual exhaust homemade or a kit?

Original Outlaw -> RE: 2" Lift and 31" Toyo AT (4/15/2008 4:29:45 PM)

If you guess want the real aggressive roof rack, check out Offroadunlimited.com. I think you guess will like it and plus if you guess want, theres a baja style 4 light attachment that connects to the front. Here's the likes [;)]
