I did a search and didn't come up with a definite answer. I have a '94 Blazer 4x4 and of course I want a little lift. I'm REALLY wanting to clear 32s and not have to worry about them rubbing unless I do something really stupid. I was wondering if it could be done with a 2" RC lift, 3" body lift, and 2WD wheels. I'd rather stay away from doing any trimming if possible. Or would I be better off with a 2+2 lift and 31s? Any help will be appreciated. -Jesse

Probably will be ok running 32's..but not sure. If you're modifying enough to put on 32s...why so afraid to trim if needed? From what I've seen, if you stick your wheel out wider (2wd rim), you'll rub on the body and need to trim or lift more (hopefully the 5'' total lift will fix that though), or if you stay with stock rims or at least stock backspace, you'll rub on the frame. Hard call!

go 2+2 with a 5" backspaced wheel... maybe 4.5"... and 32's should not rub unless wheeling. If you plan on off-roading at all, or even going over speed bumps you will need to trim the fenders. With stock backspacing you will rub the frame at full lock.

I definitely want to go offroading and not have to worry about rubbing. That's the only reason I'm lifting it. So with a 2+2, 5" backspaced wheel, and 31s I should be in the clear, right? Thanks, Jesse
