i have a 1994 v-6 4.3 vortech 4x4
i'm not realy in big booming subs but i do like my radio from time to time and its being a pain. first it is a stock radio and every time i turn off car it erases the memorie(time /preset stations) and its getting realy annoying. second it likes to inadvertainly shut itself off sound will go away and a wired scweeling noise comes out of speaker. if i hold down the off on button or press it a bunch of times it will sometimes come back on.

about the memorie i read a diagram and it said find the orange wire. well i have a digital heads up display and there is about 10 orange wires of equal size coming from everywere from behind the dash going to fuse box so can someone help me please id realy like my radio back

finally i dont know if this partains to this section but i have a mistry wire. it comes ou of the floor boards on driver side. its a thin black and white wire that looks like it was cut off and i have no idea were it goes. my truck has motorized seat adjustments and it used to have a car phone i think but i dont know were this thing goes
