Alright first things first, I'm no mechanic so I'll try to do my best..... I own a 95 blazer, had my fair share of problems with it. I thought I had got the worst of it until my bro came home yesterday (he drives a 98 blazer) and said that his vehicle wouldn't start. I thought I could diagnosis his problem since I have had every problem with mine under the sky.

Here is the problem: It turns over just will not fire, then after about 2-3 good cranks it stops, pause for about 1-2 seconds and will start cranking again.

At first I thought vapor lock but we blead the lines and they were good, then we thought full pump but it's getting fuel, so them we checked the plugs and wire and they are fine... damp.

Could it be a distibutor problem?? We are lost for ideas

......PLease help......

Patiently waiting,
Jeff

Have you noticed an illuminated security light on the dash while you are experiencing these problems?  Sounds like an ignition switch failure.

Yah does sounds like a ignition switch issue, one thing thats worth a try to get it started if you dont want to repair it yourself is to hit the cover directly below the steering wheel and try to start. This might let you get it started if it didn't completly fail yet.
