Brush guards usually mount to the bumper brackets and the bumper brackets on your truck are nothing like the ones on an 02... RE: brush guard - 3/30/2008 3:00:43 PM    blazerboy124   Posts: 184 Joined: 8/2/2007 Status: offline so here's the skinny on my brushguard....it came off a 2002 ZR2 and i have a 97 LS 4 door 4X4. people on here are saying it will not fit. it fits perfectly, all  i had to do to was mod the skid plate by cutting off approx. 1/4" from where it bolts to my frame and i had to remove the washers from the front 4 bolts, other than that it fits perfectly. thanks for all your help, hope i helped someone else. _____________________________ Brett- 97 blazer LS 117,313 4.3L V6 posi. towing package Pioneer head unit future mods: t-bar crank 1.5" 2" shackles 2" body lift 33" tires (in reply to a_tack) Post #: 12
