WolfPack -> RE: 3" lift (3/27/2008 6:50:38 PM)

I've got a 1.25'' lift up front, 1.5'' up in the back, and I cut at the back of the wheel well to allow normal turning (also removed the lowest bolt on the wheel well cover). Now I only rub at absolutely full lock with a bit of suspension compression...but only on the wheel well cover, which I plan to trim in the near future, but for now, I just plan ahead and don't look for the tightest parking spots. Most of my rubbing issues are due to the 4.5'' of backspacing on my rims, which puts the wheel in the danger zone with the fenders. I believe with stock 6'' of backspacing you'll avoid the fender issue and touch the frame, which doesn't provide a cutting danger to the tire like the fender can.
