Would it hurt anything??? I`m just being curious about this i didnt try it.... I was just thinking if it somewhat can help break up deposits in fuel systems would it maybe dissolve oil sludge in an engine... Thanks for any thoughts ya may have on this one...

Well, you would be doing about the same thing as letting fuel dilute the oil - which is not something most folks would want. On the other hand, if you drained the oil after you had maybe 1,000 miles on it, it might not be an issue. If you're looking to clean the engine, I would recommend Auto-Rx instead. For the fuel lines try Techron Concentrate Plus in the gas tank.

I definetly wouldnt use concentrated acetone in the oil. Acetone has a flash point of -4F so oil temps will put it half way up to auto-ignition temp and far above flash point.
