Looks like running the numbers, that your speedometer and odometer would be off by 9.6%, which means to accurately calculate your mileage, you should multiple the mileage on your trip odometer and multiple it by 9.6%, then add that value to the amount you have on the trip odometer for the total mileage you drove. (i.e. mine is off by about 3% therefore every hundred miles I drive I really drove 103 miles // for you that would mean every 100 shown on the trip odometer you went 109.6 miles). Good luck with your calculations.

..134,000miles...stock 4wd 4door blazer....16-18= city....20+ highway....I found out this winter...I only get 15mpg in the cold[:'(]

AJBert -> RE: Official MPG Poll (4/1/2008 8:31:45 PM)

2000 Blazer ZR2, K&N CAI, 31X10.5 ATs, 3.73 gears.  Never check milage during city/mixed driving, only road trips.  Usually about 17-19 mpg with A/C on doing 75ish.  Have topped out just over 20 mpg on a stretch of highway with the speed limit of 55 mph.

Don't warm it up so long [:D]

I've found that the 4.3... Or at least my 4.3, is pretty hard on fuel when it's idling.

I'm one of those people that only clears enough of the window to see..then drives off.....not much of a warmer upper...until I read about  pistons not being round until the engine warms up enough...so now I warm it up just a little more than normal....I really think it's my thermostat..it's getting flushed here soon.....

noom14921992 -> RE: Official MPG Poll (4/6/2008 8:10:35 PM)

i get 23 mpg all stock

cliro -> RE: Official MPG Poll (4/7/2008 12:12:13 PM)

wow, i just did mine..
I got 11.7mpg city driving, 2004/auto/4x4.. between 0-12'c temp..
thats pretty crappy, maybe i should do a tuneup.

theonetrueapex -> RE: Official MPG Poll (4/7/2008 3:36:41 PM)

I voted 16-17 because that's what I got doing my daily driving around town in Texas with the A/C on. When I drive on the highway, I easily get 20+.

nj4x4blaze -> RE: Official MPG Poll (4/7/2008 7:14:39 PM)

Damm something must be wrong with my truck them. i get city 14 but highway 19-20

kmartin -> RE: Official MPG Poll (4/7/2008 8:32:00 PM)

I have a 2003 Chevy Blazer, 4x4, 4dr.  I can get around 15.5 mpg when it is cold and or stopping and starting too much.  Up to 16.8 mpg with not much stoping and starting and longer drives.  The best I did for almost all highway driving, nice day, no a/c, 60-65 mph average, and only the driver  in the vehicle is 24.5 mpg.  Otherwise, I can do between 21-22 mpg.

Taymacjack -> RE: Official MPG Poll (4/8/2008 12:42:40 AM)

so i guess i get somewhere around 14 with 31x10.5 MT's

willjones -> RE: Official MPG Poll (5/1/2008 5:02:59 PM)

After doing all the math a figured out that I am getting a hair over 18. I went from 235/70/15 to a 31x10.5. My od. is off by 10.79% now so when it says that i am doing 54 I am actually doing 60. I really want to get everything fixed so that it reads right, but I can't find anywhere around me that does it.

Dealership or a computer programmer are your only real options for that one...

portcqb -> RE: Official MPG Poll (5/17/2008 8:42:19 AM)

Ok after my tuneup and my front differential and transfer case fluid, I now get 17city 22highway with 4.3L AWD 3.73 rearend.

scott96 -> RE: Official MPG Poll (5/17/2008 7:38:25 PM)

about 18 combined. don't use a/c for 2 reasons. # 1 i live in Canada ( we live with snow all year round) and #2 the a/c needs to be recharged. BTW forget about #1.

drperry -> RE: Official MPG Poll (5/25/2008 6:07:11 PM)

18MPG on the last highway trip... 74+ MPH the whole trip AC on/off depending on how I felt, lol.

BTW, living in Canada is no reason not to use AC... It still gets frickin' hot here. lmao.

That's with 30x9.5" BFG A/T's and 3.42 gears...

Truck came with 235/75 R15s. Got 24 MPG on the last trip I did with the factory rubber at the same 74 MPH, lol.

I wonder if 235/70 R15s would give me better mileage...

WolfPack -> RE: Official MPG Poll (5/25/2008 6:22:14 PM)

If you're after mileage go with the 205/75/15s [:D]
