70L tank... Maybe 68 or so if you''re a 4 door... Also, try filling up at Shell if you can... I usually get better mileage from there. My last tank, from Petro Canada, got me 299km to 57.8L... 12 MPG (that''s US MPG) But then again, that''s with spirited driving and 30" tires I usually average 14 MPG if I really really really really baby it.

Well short trips kill your mileage...but you should start a new thread...this is for posting your set up and corresponding mileage.

Can''t compare it to a hemi leper. I''ve got an 04 hemi 1500 and it gets better MPG than my 2000 4.3 2wd blazer hands down. And yes both engines are tuned and running well. I haven''t figured the MPG yet but it can''t be getting much over 10

I got 12.5 MPG towing a 10x12 foot single axle sled trailer, with the wind breaker on the front.... at 75 MPH.

With my new 2door 19-21mpg Highway. For some reason she likes 65-70mph better than 55mph go figure. The drive 55mph for best gas mileage is bullshit if you ask me every car has a sweet spot. Stock rims/tires(for now) See sig for my truck

Good ol'' 4x4 Evolution! The sweet spot, btw, is different for where you''re at, and what day your vehicle was made on.... Some Blazers to AWESOME at 55 mph. At 75, last time I kept track, on factory rubber I got 24...

VeHicle is a 1999 4x4 GMC Jimmy, 4-door with 80000 miles and is loaded with roof rack, sun roof, leather seats and NRA member sticker on back glass. Has brand new Goodyear Wrangler Radials 235-75x15. I''ve owned it about a month. I''ve checked mpg 4 times. Type of driving is rural/suburban 2 lane highways. No interstate driving yet. Fuel milage as follows: 122.0 miles on 16.2 gallons of B-P 87 octane = 16.2 mpg included a top speed blast- 96 mph wall. 225.5 miles on 13.5 gallons of B-P 89 octane = 16.7 mpg. 66.0 miles on 4.0 gallons of 89 octane = 16.5 mpg. 53.8 miles on 3.2 gallons of 89 octane = 16.8 mpg. I wonder if we get better mpg with 93 octane instead of 87 octane?

I figure I can throw mine up here too, just to compare. Specifications: 1988 S-10 Blazer 2-door "Sport", 2.8L V6, 700R4 overdrive automatic, 4x4, 4.11 gear ratio, 69k original miles. Driving habits: mostly city driving, occasionally some back-road highway adventures, fairly easy acceleration and braking, occasional 4x4 use (haven''t gone through a winter yet with it). I see a fairly constant 16mpg under these conditions. I expect it to drop some this winter, since I put a remote start on it, and I like using that to warm it up before/after work. Highest mileage I''ve gotten out of it was about 18-19mpg, lowest was 14. The low was when I was playing around in 4x4 a lot crawling through some rocks. High was mostly just back and forth to work (about 8 miles each direction). I get better city mileage than highway in this little beast. I''m happy with my mileage in it, however. It''s a definite step up from the F-250 4x4 I had last year... That thing got 8mpg!
