i don't like carbin fiber.  It was made to make things lighter, and still have the strength it was suppose to, its has gone WAY to far with everything having a CF sticker put on things.  Maybe you should just get a honda badge and put it on the front? lol

You can't get black overlays for the emblems in black from ebay...
The CF stickers you get off ebay are nearly black. You can't tell there is a pattern at all from 3 feet away.

And Matt, its rude to tell someone they need a Honda badge on their Chevy. Better to just say "I don't like carbon fiber stickers much."

rude or not, im just honost.  You would say that being you have HONDA looking carbin fiber all over your blazer.  Honosty is illegal i guess.  Oh, and if you can't tell there is a pattern from more than 3 feet away, then why waste the money?

You buy the carbon fiber because you can't get the black most of the time off ebay.
Honesty, no. Stating your opinion as fact, yes.

Gentlemen, opinions are what they are.  If you don't like them, don't read 'em.

Black vinyl stickers would work just fine, if you wanted pure black... Cut 'em yourself.

Heck, most decal shops probably have scrap sitting around they want to get rid of...

I'm not a fan of a carbon fibre sticker myself, but whatever floats yer boat

I've seen the carbonfiber sticker bowties at shows last year and they look fine. Granted the photoshop really doesn't do it justice, but once he installed everything he purchased it should look fine.

Thank you Dave, glad someone likes them, but yeah i only did the carbon bowties because yes black bowties are hard to come by, and i dont have the time to go to a vinyl shop to have them made, i stick with ebay.

Paint is always another option. And if you don't like how it comes out theres always a billet bowtie. those are cheap as well.

I like them. I overlayed my grille emblem and the emblems on the centercaps with them and they look good up close, but they look black to me from 3 feet away. But that could just be me....

So are you doing the speed grilles, and THEN updating to 98+ front end?  Why waste money on the grilles?

I think Brent mentioned this in your other thread but MAKE SURE you clean the bowite really well before you put the decal on.

im not going to have the money for the front end conversion for awhile, and the grille was in my price range. im not even sure if im going to go through with the conversion because of how much work it is to do it.

Don't even bother with the front end conversion. Save your $$$ and put it towards something useful for the truck.
