Why does my Jimmy run better with the remote start in the off position? It is a Astro start 2 button. It was installed when i bought it. No manual, and not sure what model. I have also noticed that it must have had a sensor on the fender lip for a hood pin, and its missing, is this a issue, no ground thus rough running? Any thoughts?

that sensor, at least in some, disables the remote start feature, so it isnt activated while you are working under the hood, like a safty switch
