I pulled the 2 large hose off the radiator and opened the little white plastic valve and not much came out. I took the waterhose and put it in the top hose hole, then the bottom and then the cap hole. All the water coming out was clear so I thought it was all out. Went to fill the radiator back up and only got less then a half gallon back in there. Ran it and till the stat opened and it was still high. I closed it all up and took a drive... heated up to 210* and then back down to 150/160*

I think that the plastic drain got cloged and didn't drain all the fluid and water out when I flushed it. Will it be ok for now(till next weekend) or should I try it again or get it cleaned/flushed profesionally?

Also I've been hearing a "water" sound when I push the gas.(since before I tried to flush it) I read it could be air in the heatercore or something like that how do you get it out?

ALWAYS have the heater ON when working with the radiator. START WITH COLD ENGINE, Buy some radiator flush and follow directions. Spend a little extra and get something with a decent name. Do not bother with the little drain, just pull the big hose off the bottom of the radiator, then replace hose and refill with water and flushing stuff. After the flush is done, according to directions, rinse it out with regular water and put hose back on when done.

Fill it one more time with water.

YOU WILL BE TAKING HOSE OFF WHEN IT IS HOT, BE DARN CAREFULL DOING THIS.

Start engine and let it warm to well above temp where it goes back down and remove the bottom hose at the radiator AGAIN. <HOT HOSE> BOILING WATER. Should still be dingy water coming out, it hangs around INSIDE the engine, hiding out on the other side of the thermostat. That thing ought to be working if you see the temp gauge move up and down.

Put things back together.

Fill radiator with at least a true gallon af ANTIFREEZE, not the mixed half and half, you need more of that. When radiator acts full, do not replace cap, make sure you start engine and turn on the heat. Watch the water level and top it off without wasting the coolant, if the gallon is IN IT and you are not in the northernmost states you can probably add water. Above the Mason Dixon line, use all coolant.

Dont let coolant spill onto the fan, it'll spray all over and its not healthy to deal with, may even damage some paints. WASH IT OFF. When you feel it is REALLY not going to get any fuller, give up and replace cap. Take car out for a ride and make sure it gets good and hot. Normal operating temp, at least. Wait for it to REALLY cool and check the radiator again. Fill anything needed including overflow, up to correct, cold levels. Resume your regular driving, but make sure you look at the plastic tank level while you are at it and always LOOK FOR LEAKS. Park on clean pavement each time for a day or two after to make sure.

A couple of things I always do. When replacing the hose, I change clamp. Before replacing hose, I completely clean the place it goes AND the inside of the hose. If it looks bad, I change the hose. I always rub a little "blue goo" on the inside of the hose, and I do mean a very THIN layer. Helps lubricate as it goes on and may help seal the clamp location. The bottom hose is a pain to change on the side of the road. Top one is easier?? Just my way of thinnin. On cars that are older, I will also add some combination waterpump lube and sealant while filling for last time. My favorite brand escapes me at the moment. No sense cleaning it and creating a leak???

The engine or the radiator?

I only remember seeing one plastic drain plug on the passenger side of the radiator thats the one I pulled.

The engine crank case on each side. I know mine has them but not sure if your has them maybe someone can make sure.
