Hi, Wonder if any can help, I have a 98 full size chevy blazer 4d 4x4. When I try to opperate the drivers side power window I can hear the moter runnuing but the window dosn't move. I taken off the door panel to check that window was still on runners, which it is. I can move the window up and down manually.I was wondering if this sound as the teeth have sheared off and I will need to replace motor or regulator arm, or is there a simple solution? Also seeing the motor is rivited inplace how much of a pain in the A will it be to replace Thank you for your time

Sounds like you need to get the regulator out and remove the motor. You may end up replacing the whole regulator if the gear teeth are stripped on both parts, but I believe that the teeth on the motor are weaker than those on the regulator. With the regulator out, you will have to drill out the rivets. A new motor should come with bolts to replace the rivets.
