I took my Blazer out in the snow alot this winter. I live in the country basically, so it's not hard to find places to go. I've only got stuck once since I've had the truck. It was a typical night out, about 2:30am or so. I was out doing dougnuts and sliding sideways all the exciting stuff you know. I was wrapping it up for the night so I started creeping home still looking for one last spot to drive through. I saw headlights in my rearview and I'm out in the middle of freakin nowhere so I figured it's some sort of patrol or something. I continue on my way home forgetting about playing around anymore. There's some road construction up ahead, one lane is shut down and a makeshift stop light is put up. I pull up and it turns red, no cars coming except for behind me. Just as I stop my truck slides sideways right into the ditch leaving my front drivers side tire about 1.5 feet in the air. CRAP, and for the car behind me it's worse than I though, It's some old farmer driving a new Ford 4X4 pickup. If I wasn't so far from home I would have turned down his offer to pull me out, but I sucked up my pride, got my chain and let this guy pull me out of the ditch. But really I was so greatful he was there, Ford and all I gave him my most sincere thanks and we both went on our way. The lesson of the story is, it's not always your driving that will get you in sticky situations, be observant and play deffense when you're off roading (even if it's on road in the middle of nowhere on fresh snow roads).

Hehe, sounds like fun. Snow driving is always a blast. only done it a few times. as where I lived the last few years no good snowfall. But also happy no one was hurt. Hope you didn't dent your truck too much.
