WolfPack -> RE: Headliner Replacement (4/5/2008 7:45:44 PM)

Remove all the hooks and handles and everything from the roof. The board should need a tiny bit of love but will then come down...then finagle the board out the back. Once out, pull off fabric, and use cellulose stripper to remove all foam backing. Then wash thouroughly to get the stripper off...if you don't get it all off, the new adhesive won't stick. Apply liberally new headliner adhesive, or 3M super 90 spray adhesive. Apply new fabric, Stretch tightly over the board, use more adhesive to hold all the corners in tight. Use razor/exacto knife to cut new holes for hooks/handles/everything. Enjoy new roof liner. *Note...there may be more steps, but this is the basic process. The most important is the removal of all the old foam.
