Anyone have a guide or hints on replacing the headliner in a 94 Blazer Tahoe LT Four Door? The headliner is coming down and it's going to need a replacement before summer hits.

Remove all the hooks and handles and everything from the roof.  The board should need a tiny bit of love but will then come down...then finagle the board out the back.

Once out, pull off fabric, and use cellulose stripper to remove all foam backing.  Then wash thouroughly to get the stripper off...if you don't get it all off, the new adhesive won't stick.  Apply liberally new headliner adhesive, or 3M super 90 spray adhesive.  Apply new fabric, Stretch tightly over the board, use more adhesive to hold all the corners in tight.

Use razor/exacto knife to cut new holes for hooks/handles/everything.

Enjoy new roof liner.

*Note...there may be more steps, but this is the basic process.  The most important is the removal of all the old foam.

Okay.. is there a place where I could get some new material or will anything from the local fabric shop work. And by board do you mean the center console in the roof that holds the storage and map lights?

Most interior shops will have it...you need Headliner material because it is the fabric with foam backing.  You have other options, but if you want an OEM look, you need headliner fabric.  When I priced it out for my Range Rover, it was ~$90 for the material from a few different local shops.

I wanna go OEM. I have the tan interior. I'll look around and see what find. Thanks wolfpack. And while I am on it. What tires and wheels are you running on the Blazer? I might have to bite that style some :P

Off by 3 mph.  When gauge reads 60, I'm doing 63ish.  I don't know a cop that'll pull for 3 mph
