If you're going for the off road "tha beast" look...I'd say go for a cowl hood, off road lights up top, chrome brush/cattle guard (whatever you call them where you're from), dual exhaust, some super swamper tires, tail light guards, chrome side steps, definately a lift kit, tow hooks (if you don't have any already) and MAYBE even a winch. Give it the "I don't don't get stuck but I'll pull you out" look.

yea it gets expensive quick. thats why i went for the smooth clean look. i work at a body shop so i do all my own body work/painting for dirt cheap. my boss is actually letting me paint it for free. i just gotta get off this damn forum and finish it

How much does it normally cost for a paint job? I plan on painting the side mirrors, the door handles, rear hatch release and the plastic that goes around the rear side windows. I'm going to keep it the same color but maybe have a pearl coat put on it to give it that extra shine. What do you think? The person who had my xtreme before me didn't take care of it very well. They never waxed the roof. So it's a little oxidised...not too bad though. I went and got some maguires 3 step wax and went to town on it. It looks a lot better than she did before...okay, I'm done now.

we usually charge 200 bucks a panel to sand and paint without any body work. it sounds pretty expensive, but our painter is great and we have a top of the line paint booth. i'm only learning to paint(its a lot harder than it looks). i just do the body work there and get stuff into primer. i wouldnt reccomend going cheap on a paint job. make sure the shop you go to has a good paint booth(not a bay with a fan) and has a good reputation. there are a lot of crappy shops out there.

The paint job just might have to wait until later on. I have other mods I'm wanting to get done first as well as save for a new motorcycle...I need more money dammit.

If any of you wish to contribute to the 01xtreme moddin fund....I accept all major credit cards and cash.
