I can't upload my new avatar I made or pics to my photo gallery here and chevroletforum, cardomain, photobucket(deleted account), imageshack is the only one that works now becasue I think NOD32 had something to do with it. How do I fix this. When I click upload, I get the pop-up window to choose my picture. I choose it, then click upload and I get "Connectin closed by remote server"> I checked the Opera help and other websites with no luck anywhere. Please help!

Does it work in IE or FF?  Does it work if you disable your antivirus?  How about it if you have the new picture on your desktop?

NOD 32 wont have anything to do with it at all due to its not a firewall program and its not blocking your ports. When your connect is reset that means something is blocking it but its not NOD32. Check your router or windows firewire.

The only scanner virus/spyware things I have are spybot, NOD32 (trial), and CCleaner. The only thing I can think of that could be doing something is I clicked on the immunize button on Spybot when I ran it last time. The only reason I think it has somthing to do with NOD32 is that imageshack is the only upload thing that works since I ran the program and fixed all the infractions it found. I will try and see if it works with internet explorer. I don't use internet explorer at all since I havbe gotten Opera as my browser. I deleted my photbucket acount and I am going to cret ea new one to see if it works again. My windows firewall is off also. Also, ever since I ran NOD32, I have been getting thses messages on startup saying that certain progrms cannot run in a MS-DOS application and click close to terminate the program. I click close, but the next time I start-up the computer, they pop up again. Also I get like at least 9 or 10 pop-ups saying that C/yadda yadda cannot run and click close yadda yadda. I click close and they pop up the next time I start up. I am getting fed up with this and am reayd to take it to someone if I can't figure this out soon.

*Sorry fo rposting in the wrong section. I am having this problem with other sites too so I wasn't sure where to post it. Thakn for moving it Kyle.

Have you tried to reinstall Opera?  From the sounds of it, something is fundamentally screwed up in your PC.  I use my Windows Firewall, Spybot w/ immunization, and a few other things and do not have any problem uploading pictures to anywhere.  But I also use FireFox.  Could never get used to Opera.

I just updated to the new versiom too. 9.27 I believe it was. That didn't work. Last time it did, wierd. Should I uninstall Opera and then download it again and set everything up.

I am downloading Firefox as we speak and I'll see if it works on there. If it does, goodbye Opera. I'm sick of the problems and just want it to work right. Plus I need to put new pics up in certain places and cannot do so until this problem is over with.

**Check it out.  My new avatar is up thanks to Firefox wooohooo!!  I am going to uninstall Opera and use Firefow from now on.  Is there any tips or tricks you can give me Kyle as to setting up certain stuff.

I uninstalled Opera and reinstalled it and the upload worked so I uninstalled Firefox cause I like Opera, but then the upload stopped working again. Guess I will ditch Opera all together and reinstall Opera. I uninstalled yahoo messenger and spyware doctor and some of the error messages onn start up dissapeared, so that a start lol.
