Who told you that you couldn't get the all-terrains in a 15". They are smoking crack.

The long Trails are one step closer to a street tire from the All-Terrains. I have run a pair on my front axle while wheeling before. They did fine in the soupy mud.

265/70/15s WOO!!!

Solid choice

And I hope you plan on lifting or you have a lift, or you have a nice cut off wheel to cut back the fenders....because 265s are about 10.7'' wide in actual measurments...and they looveee to rub.  A 31x10.50 tire for comparison, is only about 10.2-10.3'' wide.

And the long trails should do you pretty good, it's not an A/T...so I could see you having some problems in loose sand/gravel...or maybe snow and ice...but other than that, you'll enjoy the gas mileage you saved by not getting an A/T.

They are a great highway tire but really don't do well at all offroad.  Anything remotely loose and they can't get a grip.

Ok thanks for the information. Suprisingly enough the tires dont rub at all, and I do plan to do a lift in the future. I do a small amount of highway driving and since my back is screwed up i didnt want a harsh ride, but I figured what the hell, Ill try them out the Michalins had about 1 summer left on them and i kept getting stuck this past winter.

so the AT2 grabber tire does come in the stock zr2 tire right?  i dont go off roading i just like the look of a beefier looking tire on my truck.  if they dont come in the stock size...what size would i need for my zr2?

Without a doubt.  31x10.50x15 is stock zr2 size.

www.Treadepot.com has the best prices I've found on AT2s (free shipping too!)

Another tire that is decent is teh Cooper Discovery series. Google Cooper tires. It is one of two American owned and American produced tires left in America. They make a dwn good product. I had a set of the STT on my '87. Great tires, aggressive, and quiet.
