Well let me just say I first got in to audio before beefing up the engine on my other cars. I love audio systems but have lately not done nothing to my blazer cuase of my pullies. I had A Alpine deck , JL Audio 500/1 amp, 2 Orion HCCA 12" speakes each in there own enclosures, and a cap. I did all the installation my self with monster cables. Well I took the alpine deck of my old car and want to install on my blazer but have not found a after market kit that fits flush to the dash. Does anybody know of kits that look good not sticking out like 2 inches like the others? By the way I am selling my amp and HCCA's 12s if anybody is interested.

well i see in your sig that you have a 95 and 97 blazer, so im assuming its for one of them. unfortunatly i cant help you very much because ive never owned that body style, so im unsure about the deck install on it. but what i can tell you is if its like the previous body style (92-94 i think), you can only use the kit that sticks out 2 inches unless you want to do some fabrication. And for 98+ blazers, you can get either a flush mount or a protruding mount, but neither of them seem to fit in the dash right. i tried like 3 different kits and i had to cut my dash a little bit to get any of them in.

Yeah it's not the kit, it's the vehicle. The venting in behind the head unit needs to be modified in order for the aftermarket head unit to fit properly.
