I have read a lot in the past on this forum as well as all other 4.3L V6 forums about PITA installation for Gibson, JBA, and Edelbrock headers. What I haven't heard was of anyone trying PaceSetter's headers for 96'-99' 1500/2500 Pickup, 2wd/4WD vehicles with 1.5" tubes & 2.5" collectors! Part # is 72C1321 for the 'armor coat'. Does anyone have any personal experience with them or know of someone who has put them on a 4.3L? My neighbor has Pacesetter for his 2.2L dime. They seem to be much cheeper than Gibson & JBA ceramic coating shortys. Jegs has them at $372!! I am still teater-tottering on doing headers and custom 2.5" y-pipe with a Wait4MeTune. I just don't want the problems that come associated with people's experience fitting them, and leaks, etc. Any feedback is appreciated. Peas

Everything I've seen about them for other motors makes me wanna stay clear of them. I've heard nothing but fitment issues, poor welds, and thin coatings
