Get a BDS lift kit with their version of the Bilstien shocks. Here's a pic of my boy Brian who has the BDS 5" Lift Kit.

That first link is a Trailmaster 5''.  You can find them much cheaper than that site.  The second one...eh...

I'm pretty sure when the S-10 blazers came out they were the two door, and the T-10 was the 4 door........maybe.

The full size blazers are K5s

Edit: Can anyone else back this up?  I'm back and forth...I thought there was an older T-10/T-15...which makes me think the T-15 was the 4 door...but at the same time...weren't 4-doors not produced till 95?

And then there's the whole 92-95 Blazer Sports...the full sizers with the single panel rear windows....were those still K5s?  I've confused myself...I should quit while I'm ahead

i know the 80's blazers were K 5's. and then you had the 2 door S10 blazer. but i have a 4 door 95 LT. i havent looked at the RPO's that are on the truck or tried to research them at all. so i have no clue what the deal is with them.

So LMC Truck has the history of the Blazer/Jimmy/S10/S15/Sonoma:

S15 pickup became the GMC Sonoma in '91
Also in '91, the 4-door S10 Blazer and S15 Jimmy were introduced.
S15 Jimmy became Jimmy  in '92
S10 Blazer became S-Blazer in '93, which became Blazer in '95.

The full size Jimmy in '92 (not the S15) becamse the Yukon, and in '95 the full size Blazer was renamed Tahoe.

Still doesn't say when the differentiation between K5 and the full size Blazer (which became Tahoe) started.

Conclusion:  We both drive Blazers.

Anyone have any insight on the K5-Fullsize Blazer name switch?

i think the other blazers are the fullsize that look more like a tahoe. there was the k-5 the s-10 (which is ours) and the fullsize blazer which is like the tahoe.

I saw on website for a product it listed blazer as S/T series or C/K series for 92-94!   Can anyone confirm the full size blazers in 92-94 which are now the Tahoes were C/K blazers?

ive seen on sites out blazers listed as a "T" or a "S" series. i assumes the S10 being the 2 door and my T being a 4 door.

Actually, my 96 2-door is listed as a T10...whatever the hell that means.

I know the answer to this!

A K5 Blazer is EXACTLY the same as a Tahoe. They just changed the name. It's on the same platform as a Silverado/Sierra/K-Jimmy/Yukon/Suburban (the only difference between the Tahoe and Suburban is that the latter has a longer wheelbase).

An S-10 Blazer is what you have.  It's on the same chassis as an S-10/S-15/Sonoma pickup, and is exactly the same as an S-15 Jimmy.

I really don't think there's any difference between an S and a T.  The differences we have to worry about are between the S and the K.  Does this help, or is it just confusing you more?

S=2wd, T=4wd for the s-series vehicles (it's part of the vin).
C=2wd, K=4wd for the full size vehicles (again, it's part of the vin).
