so since my 2' 10 inch jbls blew my lil bro is telling me to get the p1 Rockford Fosgate subs.

any one bumping these? any better then jbl? he has 2' 12s in his s10 pick up there alright but idk there only like 120 bucks so i mean there cheap for the sound they have i guess.

If you want to go with fosgate go with P2's or better!! The P1's are poo in my opinion and the P2's will give you a better sound and pound over P1's!!

RF P1 cones are made with cheap plastic and crack easily. I would look into some MTX RT subs or higher if you want cheap and reliable.

I like the fosgates alot just not the lower end stuff they produce, thats why i suggested P2's or better!!

TJ depends on the size of amp and space under your rear seats for mounting it, I know in my blaze (2dr) I would only be able to fit a really small amp under them!

Punch line sucks period.

Look into other options. Or save up to buy better woofers

i honestly would take the jbl's over the p1s any day of the week.  Either look into another woofer or save ur money and get something better like jon said.  what do you have for a budget?

The p1s suck, you can buy them for around $50 for a 12, go with p2s,p3s,t1s, or t2s. More than likely p2s you can get them cheap from www.cartronixplus.com.Thats where i got the kicker stuff i got in my truck.

You can say that again! I have Road Thunders and they have never failed to give me some bump! Even after I punched a hole in my cone with a little cargo accident, but the crack didn't even spread and I was able to super glue it back and it still bumps nicely.

if you hook the type r up to a good amp then they hit hard. they have very little distortion

ok i know some of you dont like p-series rockfords, but i have 2 p2 10s and they are amazing for tens. i have a pioneer 800 class D and they get too loud for it to be comfortable to listen to. i have them in a ported qlogic also a 1farad cap and they push the windows in and out and the rear view mirror falls.

ok like i posted in the other thread. most people out there look for loud subs, i was giving a point of referance for what they can do. and maybe its just me, but the mirror doesn't fall off...it turns down from the volume being up with the subs. has no one had a system that moves the crap out of anything in their vehichle?
