i have a 95 blazer 4 door 4x4. it has the 4L60E tranny in it. I was driving down the road the other day and i was doing about 55-60 miles an hour when i came up on a car. i went to pass the car and when the blazer down shifted i heard a kinda whistling noise that sounded like it was coming from the back of the motor. the best way i can explain what it sounded like what an old volkswagon bug exhaust sounds like. anyway i got home parked it and reved it a little and the noise is coming out of what sounds like the front of the tranny. Could this be the pump going out??? any ideas are greatly appreciated. sorry this is such a long post
