Welcome to the site Mike. Nice Pheasants! We used to have 2 females and a male for "pets" A weasel ended up getting the females, and the male escaped...we never did find out if he made it through hunting season, but some friends said they saw him while partridge hunting.

Thanks for the welcome. This is an interesting place. This is my second Blazer. I like 'em but I hate the repair stuff. So, hopefully, this place will keep me rolling. I live in the center of the best pheasant hunting in the world. The grouse and partridge are bonus. We have more deer than residents. But I moved here to be closer to home and fishing.

Ya, I'm a country girl in the city and it sucks. We used to be able to go bird hunting right in our back yard. We had rabbit snares set up in the winter we could walk to. My brother still hunts every year (although he got skunked on the deer this year), but I only fish these days. As a matter of fact, I just remembered that i have a gift card for Bass pro Shops I need to spend!

I wish I got skunked on the deer. That is why I am driving a '95 Blazer. One popped out in front of me as I drove into city limits....totaled the pickup. Two days later, driving a Blazer again. Here's the tally, deers two cars zero. I'm going deer hunting this fall...they owe me.

That sucks...my mom hit a deer in a Chevette...seriously. No one was injured, surprisingly enough, except the deer.

I did like my '87 red and black Blazer. I do like this one, but its in the garage getting a new starter core. But it should be ok. If it pulls my boat and doesn't overheat, I'm happy. You show me an anti-hunter, and I'll show you someone who hasn't wasted a car or two on a deer.
