I've been on here a whopping 24 hours. From what I see there's a trainload of info and experience.

So... I want to do a set of Crager Black D's or Soft 8's on my stock 93 S10 Blazer 4x4 4 door. Without guessing, what backspacing do I want to maintain a stock width using a 15x7 wheel? I plan on throwing on some 30x9.5's or 235/75 load C's in an AT tread. From reading here the 9.5's seem to be the biggest I can fit in a high profile tire.
If I wanted a little to get a wider than stock stance (just an inch or 2) what spacing then. Does going wider help or hurt freespace for rubbing or clearance issues?
At what backspacing, on a 15x7 wheel, with a 30x9.5, would they be oustide of the fenders? (not what I want)

Any help is appreciated.

6" backspacing is factory spec.
Anything less then that and you push the tire into the fender.

30x9" is a perfect size and doesn't stick outside the fenders, provided your running 6" backspacing.
