Ok so currently I'm rockin 2 jobs (as of today)

1 is a painter for military/commercial aircraft and the other is an audio installer.

My question for the people who have worked crazy hours before.

Am I asking for trouble if I start the painting job at 5am (waking up at 3 to leave) and working till 3pm which will give me 2 hours of overtime a day and then leaving from there to the audio shop till 6pm.

I would get home at 7 prolly.

Think I'll just be screwing myself in the end? I'm the type of person who stays up late and for days on end and all.........Plus I <3 money

I work a great deal of hours too. Been roping in about 60 hrs a week....plus I spent 2 hrs on the road each day, waking at 4:45 am to get to work and arriving back home when it's nearly dark, and staying up until midnight at least. If I could change it and only work 40 hrs, I would...life is too damn short to kill yourself working!

just be sure not to burn yourself out, get plenty of sleep when you can and get used to not having much of a personal life.

when you start burning yourself out, you don't think properly which puts yourself at risk for accidents. so be careful. put yourself on a schedule and stick with it.

I used to work a lot of hours(like 50+).  It was fine for me because I had nothing else to do since I lived in a boring town.  I now make a lot more than I did at that job and only work 40 hours(and OT when they offer it).  I had no problem with it.  I look at it like this you have to work hard if you want to be sucessful(my defination of sucessful).  You can rest when your dead.

I put in 12 to 16 hours a day, 6 to 7 days a week for about 4 years when I was younger. That gave me the money to invest in real estate and now I work 3 days a week for a bodyshop.
