I have a 2001 Chevy Blazer LS. I currently have 31x10.5 tires on there now. I was wondering if anyone thought i could fit possibly 31x11.5 or even stretching it to 31x12.5. I plan on upgrading to an aggresive tire, some brand of MT tire.

With a M/T you'll need to reconsider your width.  Even a 30x9.5 could rub in a M/T.  Actual dimensions of a M/T are usually bigger than converted sizes .

My 265/70/15s are 10.7'' wide in the AT2, but if I had gone with an Ameritrac (General Tire's All-Season), a 265/70/15 is only 10.4 wide.

I highly doubt you'll be able to go any wider than 10.5 without rubbing frame (if you have stock tires).

Yea that's what I figured too. The tires I have now aren't stock theyre actually the biggest I could fit without rubbing and theyre actual size is about 29.5x10.5 and they say 31x10.5. The tires im looking at are the Super Swamper TSL/SX 30x11.5. That tires actual diameter is 29.6, and I figure I could squeeze out another inch of width without rubbing?

Before I lifted, the tires hit my wheel wells like a they were red headed step children in 265/70/15.

I don't see how you're not rubbing frame at full lock with 10.5s, much less with another inch.  I rub fender/wheel well due to my rims that only have 4.5'' of backspacing.  You should be hitting as much frame as I hit fender.

If I got the 30x11.5's and reduced my backspacing you think it'd help me from not rubbing with the extra inch? Just to be safe?

Well the only way to reduce the backspacing is with spacers () or new rims ($$).  And I went down 1.5'' of backspacing and rub...so a happy medium of .75'' might be your best shot, but I don't know for sure

Yeah I have these real nice American Racing chrome rims that used to be on my 69 Skylark that im thinking about using. I might just be better off going with a smaller tire like a 30x10.5 mud terrain with those rims I have sitting around. But it would be nice to get alittle wider tire.

I ran 285/75R16 on my truck and rubbed frame at full crank. 285/75R16 are 33" (32.8) x 11.3" tires. They were mounted to 6" backspaced wheels, factory backspacing on the 4x4's. I rubbed frame, enough to rattle your teeth. Then again I was running the Cooper Discovery STT tires.

I simple didn't turn the sterring wheel to full lock. How often do you turn to full lock anyways?

How much lift did you have on your truck? Must have a good amount if you ran 33's huh? I don't have any lift and want to run 31x10.5 or 11.5 depending. I rarely ever turn my wheel at full lock anyway.

I ahd 3" body lift, extensive fender trimmeing, and beat the firewall back about 1". No rubbing on hte fenders though, even going over curbs at 20mph. My son had a habit of driving too fast and has slide over the curbs a few times in the snow. And through a few ditches, and, well you get the idea. Teh truck was a beast and pretty much unstoppable.
Not too shabby for a '87 with a 2putt8 4x4 with 3.73 gears and 33" tires

Hanr that truck is awesome!  Those rims and the side view make it look like a little Matchbox truck!

Something like that!  Haha very nice though
