there are alot of things you can do from the simple torsion bar crank and shackles to a body lift  to a suspension lift kit to a solid axle swap...im not really sure on where to find a "cheap" lift kit, and im not sure if youve got torsion bars, im new to the whole lifting idea aswell. i was thinking that i would do a 1.25" t-bar crank and 2" shackles...havent made it that far. hope i helped in some way...although im pretty sure i didnt.

crank the tbars which will give you 1.5 and get 1.5-2" shackles your choice, or just do a body lift. or both. those are the cheapest you will get.
