That is retarded. You mind as well change the title of the forum, not just the description. your just asking for more problems. and just locking threads when were trying to discuss this forum issue was a pretty dick move. i think we were all trying to be mature here.

besides who does it hurt besides them selves to share the story. just b/c we cant share the story isnt gonna prevent us from doing it im sorry it happens whether or not yall want to hear it. i have many stories about street racing but its not like i go onto the main road or go into some neighbor hood and do it all of my street races are in places just outside of my city or on a road where no one is @. we dont race through traffic its just a short run to 70 or 80 mph.

Sometimes its hard to wait till friday or saturday to go to the track wait in the stagining lanes for 30 minutes to run for 9 seconds (i only have an 1/8th mile track in my town)- yes the track is safer, yes its sanctioned, yes you get times, and YES its more of a hastle for me considering that the mileage between my home town "drag strip" (of only 1/8th mile) is 42 miles...... so yea tell me about not street racing when its a 30 minute drive + its an 1/8th mile drag strip + so many people go you are waiting for 20 minutes to run 9 seconds + there are so many riced out fudgpacking honda drivers there its incredible = me going maybe once a month.

not that i dont like to do it I would love going if it where more like moroso or something like that i love going through the gates into the burn out box its awsome to me its just not worth the money/hastle involved to get their and participate.....

but this weekend i will have vids from the track- going for grudge racing

yea i would agree haha thats pretty sad i personally dont even street race the closest ive been to it i just a real quick 0-60 from a red light out into the country on a paved road with nobody around...by the way i never even ended up speeding until after i was done by locking the thread or changing the title it wont do anything we'll keep on posting somewhere else not that i care to but really lets all act our age and not dick around with that stuff some ppl actually think about what there doing when there racing and dont kill ppl i realize that a death is a very sad thin and im sry to hear it but its not somthing that has to make ppl walk around like they have a stick stuck up there butt all the time. in my mind the worst drivers on the road r ppl usually doing the speed limit because alot of the times there the ppl that rnt aware of whats going on around and BEHIND them im not bashing ppl for not speeding or telling ppl to race all im saying is lets just use common sense. and if somthing does bother u on the forum choose not to look at it. its not like its a bunch of bad language and links to porno sites anyways were talking about racing and thats it. theres nothing that were talking about that should offend a car enthusiest.

not tryin to throw myself in somewhere where i might get in trouble or something but I think some of the street racing stories could help convince people on here to not do it. I mean ive done it maybe 3 times. the first 2 i won easily. (just wanna say stock 4.3L crushes turbo diesel f150 or 250) But why im saying it might scare people away is on my 3rd race ever I was running against a prelude and we both started going. at around 75 i got NAILED with radar like i got lasered and i got a $300 ticket with 5 pionts. Lets just say court is not fun when u got 35 over the limit and 5 points going against u. bottom line total i had to pay 375 the points and DIP classes. which was another 75 bux.

No such thing as a diesel 150 and they make 250's in both 5.4L gas and the 7.3

Just change your story not that hard:

Orig: I raced a camaro on 4th and main, we went until we had to lay off for traffic, we got up to about 80

Post: Lined up against a camaro.. AT THE TRACK , not sure what my e/t was, but I trapped at about 80mph when we had to start slowing down.

Seriously. If we can't talk about street racing in "street and strip" then what the heck do we talk about???

Some people are idiots and go 110 in their cars racing. Those are the people that get themselves killed. Very few, if any, Blazers, are going to have a 1/4 trap 100 MPH or more. We're talking about a 17 second race here...

The whole point is that street racing is illegal, which is why we shouldn't condone it here. Blazer Forum does NOT condone illegal actions. It was a mistake to name the area "Street & Strip", and I'm sure it will be changed soon.

Sorry guys.

I just want to defend myself here. It wasn't my sole decision to not allow tales of street racing here. Many MANY other sites around on the net are doing away with it simply due to the fact that it hurts way more people than it helps. Not to mention that I have seen quite a few people get atleast a knock on their door because of illegal crap they posted on the net (ClubGP for one).

Don't go singling me out in this Ryan. If you can't read the description and abide by it, then you have a problem, not me. If you were *trying* to be mature, you would not discuss it, nor would you resort to name calling.

Ok, thread locked again.
