AC leak...photo attached - 5/5/2008 10:23:54 AM    JediKnight2   Posts: 162 Joined: 12/1/2007 Status: offline I just had my accumulator, evaporator and orifice tube replaced because the evaporator went...A week or two ago some of the green dye was in the same location of the photo below...I wiped it up and cleaned it all up to see if it was a leak...today I see this.. If you look below the compressor...lots of green dye there...is this a sign of a bad compressor....it does make a racket when I turn on the AC...I can post a vid up with the noise if need be. RE: AC leak...photo attached - 7/4/2008 1:21:16 PM    JediKnight2   Posts: 162 Joined: 12/1/2007 Status: offline Well...it finally went out the other day.  I was just trying to milk it until it failed...NOW my question is this...a few months ago I had the accumulator and orifice tube replaced....after that is when the compressor seal went....is it necessary to REPLACE those two things AGAIN...?? Take them back and have them exchange them out.
